Update – Cleaning sector – additional notification obligation 

Back in January, an article was published regarding the additional notification obligation applicable to the cleaning sector. Recently, the details were changed. Below is an update on the important changes. 

Check In and Out at Work  

Originally the mandatory registration had a starting date of 1 April 2024, this date has now been changed to 1 September 2024.  

From September to December, users will be offered assistance in complying with the new legislation. From 1 January 2025, fines will be imposed for non-compliance with the mandatory registration. 

Important dates 

• From 1 January 2024: possibility of voluntary registration 
• From 1 September 2024: start of mandatory registration 
• From 31 December: end of transitional period 
• From 1 January 2025: fines for non-compliance with the mandatory registration
